Life Change Coordinator - Video

As movers, we are Life Change Coordinators!

We move people at all stages of life:
New birth = new house
New job = new apartment
Death = moving out

We are here for our clients, every step of the way. We make things simple, and help them feel comfortable about all aspects of a move.

Transcript of the video:

Good Morning, my name is Lisa Holly, I am the president and owner of Berea Moving and Storage Company, and WOOD-LEE International Art Handler.

I often go to a lot of networking groups and business roundtables.

And one day I had a woman walk in and she said, “Well what do you do?”

And I said, “Oh, I’m a ‘life-change coordinator.’”

And she looks at me and she goes, “What’s a life-change coordinator?”

And I said, “Well, sit down and I’ll tell you what a life-change coordinator is.”

I explained that, during a residential move, someone might have a baby, they move to a bigger house. Someone might get a promotion, they move to a bigger house. Someone might lose their job and move to an apartment. Or maybe even, unfortunately, someone might die and the widow moves to an apartment or assisted living instead of living in their big, ya know, house that they’ve lived in for the last 40 years.

So then she says to me again, “Well, again, what does that mean? What do you do?”

And I said, “Oh, okay, I understand the question now.”

So I said to her, I make life simple, I make life easy for someone.

And how I do that is I come out and do a pre-move survey, I help them find people to remove junk, I help them to find people that might auction off items that they cannot use anymore, uhm, it’s a hand-holding process.

If they want to yell at me, I let them yell at me, if they want to cry, I hold their hand and hand them a tissue.

That’s what a life-change coordinator is all about.

It’s someone that get you from point A to point B, as seamlessly as you possibly can.

Again, my name is Lisa Holly, and I look forward to speaking to you soon.
