Medical Equipment Moving - Video

President of Berea Moving & Storage and WOOD-LEE International Art Handler, Lisa Holly, discusses how meaningful it is to deliver life-saving medical equipment. Her team and employees view these projects as an honor, not just "jobs."

Transcript:

Good to talk to you again, Lisa. I know that medical equipment moving is kind of a big deal, for you and for your companies, and it's not something you often talk about. But could you tell me a little bit about that, and what that really does mean?

Brian, for me, it means pride, and where I'm going with this is yes, I make money. But delivering medical equipment means so much more. If you're needing a mammogram because you may have breast cancer. We just delivered that... And if you are getting an MRI and need it desperately today, we're going to deliver that. During COVID, I mean, we delivered more respirators and the way that I look at it, and the way my employees look at it is we just saved somebody's life.

It isn't about necessarily making a dollar because we did, but we were part of, helping save someone. And that means a lot to us. So, we're very proud to be a medical device delivery company, here in Cleveland. Yes, absolutely critical to help make sure that people are safe and taken care of... And I really appreciate you telling me a little bit more about that.

Lisa, thank you!

You're welcome.
