Ohio Museums Association Conference 2 - Video

President of Berea Moving & Storage and WOOD-LEE International Art Handler, Lisa Holly, talks about the upcoming Ohio Museums Association Conference and why it is going to be special. Lisa and her team has attended the OMA conference for over a decade, but this year's events will be extraordinary, as they are close to home and she has big things in store!

Transcript:

Hi, Lisa. Glad to have you again, today. I know the OMA conference is coming up soon, and you're gonna be presenting again...
And I know they're all special, but can you tell me a little bit more about why this one might be a little more special, for you?

Ahh, Brian!

One of my favorite events of the whole year. I look forward to it, from the time that it ends to the time it starts again... But OMA, for me, is a way to get people to know me more, to get to know me for the first time. It's a way to, network and, and join hands and become part of the museum world.

One of my favorite things is Friday night and Saturday. There are tours, and this year we're going to put in bay, by ferry. So. I can't wait... And it's a great networking experience. I get to meet people more on a 1 to 1 basis. So, that really brings excitement. This is only my second year of doing it, you know, early, but I think it's wonderful.

And then Sunday, you do more tours, and Monday you have your table, and you get to talk to everybody that comes through the halls. It's just wonderful. I love it very much, and I'm really looking forward to this year.

Awesome! Well, thank you so much.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, and I hope it's a great show for you.

Thank you, Brian.
